The lore
Slifer the Sky Dragon (ATK = cards-in-hand × 1000) was the one Egyptian God Yugi himself wielded during the Battle City finals. The serpentine red dragon with twin mouths is famous for its infinite scaling attack — the more cards Yugi held, the stronger Slifer became.
It's the only Egyptian God Yugi ever truly bonded with, making it one of his signature monsters alongside Dark Magician.
