The lore
Obelisk the Tormentor (ATK ∞ / 4000) first appeared in the Battle City tournament arc, wielded by Marik Ishtar. As one of the three Egyptian God Cards forbidden from regular play, Obelisk represents the wrath of divine power — towering, armored, capable of devastating any opponent's monsters. In the anime, summoning Obelisk requires sacrificing three monsters, and his effect destroys all enemies on the field.
The Battle City moment: When Marik summoned Obelisk in the final tournament, the entire dome of Domino City lit up with blue lightning. (And the dub theme song hit a key change.) It remains one of the most-watched summoning sequences in Yu-Gi-Oh anime history.
This brick edition captures the anime's signature blue armored design with anatomical care — the curved horns, segmented muscle plates, and powerful fists. Display alone or assemble alongside Slifer and Ra for a full divine trio altar.
