Beaver verse
The story behind bricksewer
The river is always changing, washing away anything placed into it.
One day, a beaver tried to slow the water down—without a blueprint, only trial and error. Pieces were placed, removed, and rebuilt again and again, forming what became The Dam.
Those reusable pieces were called Bricks: ideas in physical form, meant to be tried, taken apart, and rebuilt. As different beavers shaped The Dam in their own ways, the best Bricks were saved beneath it, in the Brick Sewer.
Outsiders say, “It’s just a dam.”
The beavers disagree.
To them, it’s dam good ideas, dam good builds, and time spent building—because they really give a dam.
