About this set
Bring the playful world of prairie dogs to life with the CADA Prairie Dog Dynamic Landscape. Designed in collaboration with JK Brickworks, this 1,148-piece building set combines a detailed prairie habitat with an interactive mechanical system for a fun building and display experience.
The scene recreates a lively prairie dog habitat with cacti, grass, flowers, rocks, fences, burrows and themed warning signs. Four prairie dogs are positioned throughout the landscape, each featuring a different movement.
Turn the side crank to activate the internal gear mechanism and control all four prairie dogs simultaneously. One opens its mouth, another turns its head, one wags its tail, while another moves in and out of its burrow. The synchronized mechanism turns the finished model into an animated miniature prairie scene while showcasing clever mechanical transmission.
